This Site (together with any successor site(s), computer systems, cloud-based storage accounts, associated social media websites, and all Services, as defined below, hereinafter collectively referred to as the "Site") is operated by Tampa Pet Care LLC (DBA Southern Hound Hikes, formerly Tampa Dog Walker).  The following terminology applies to these Terms and Conditions, Cookie Policy, Privacy Notice, Accessibility Notice, and all Agreements: "Client,” “User,” “Dog Owner,” "You," and "Your" refers to you, the person who accesses this website and is compliant to the Company's terms and conditions. "The Company,” "Owner," “Southern Hound Hikes,” “Tampa Dog Walker,” “Tampa Pet Care,” "Ourselves,” “Us,” "We," and "Our," refers to our Company Tampa Pet Care LLC DBA Southern Hound Hikes, "Party” and "Parties,” refers to both the Client and ourselves.  Any use of the above terminology or other words in the singular, plural, capitalization and/or he/she or they, are taken as interchangeable and therefore as referring to same.

We are concerned about privacy issues and want you to be familiar with how we collect, use, and disclose information, so that you can make educated and informed decisions. This Privacy Notice describes our practices in connection with information that we collect through our Site, any of our mobile applications, or any other websites or content owned by us that links to this Privacy Notice (collectively, the "Services"), or engage with us in other related ways, including any sales, marketing, or events.

 

Your use of any of the Services is conditioned on your agreement with all the terms of this Privacy Notice.  Do not use the Services if you disagree with any part of this Privacy Notice. This Privacy Notice is written in the English language.  We do not guarantee the accuracy of any translated versions of this Privacy Notice. To the extent any translated versions of this Privacy Notice conflict with the English language version, the English language version of this Privacy Notice shall control.

Payment data. We may collect data necessary to process your payment if you make purchases, such as your payment instrument number, and the security code associated with your payment instrument. All personal information that you provide to us must be true, complete, and accurate, and you must notify us of any changes to such personal information.

How We Process Your Information:  We process your information to provide, improve, and administer our Services, communicate with you, for security and fraud prevention, and to comply with law. We may also process your information for other purposes with your consent.

We process your personal information for a variety of reasons, depending on how you interact with our Services, including:

  • To facilitate account creation and authentication and otherwise manage your accounts. We may process your information so you can create and log into your account, as well as keep your account in working order.

  • To deliver and facilitate delivery of services to the user. We may process your information to provide you with the requested service.

  • To respond to your inquiries and fulfill your requests, such as to send you newsletters or publications that you request or to register you for events;

  • To send you our updates and mailings relating to our new programs or events that we think may be of interest to you;

  • To allow you to send Services-related content to a friend through the Services. By using this functionality, you are telling us that you are entitled to use and provide us with your friend's name and email address;

  • For our business purposes, such as data analysis, audits, fraud monitoring and prevention, enhancing, improving or modifying our Services, identifying usage trends, determining the effectiveness of our promotional campaigns and operating and expanding our business activities;

  • As we believe to be necessary or appropriate to comply with legal process, respond to requests from public and government authorities including public and government authorities outside your country of residence, enforce our terms and conditions, protect our operations or those of any of our affiliates, protect our rights, privacy, safety or property, or that of our affiliates, you or others, and to allow us to pursue available remedies or limit the damages that we may sustain.

  • To our affiliates for the purposes described in this Privacy Notice, consistent with our goal of providing the highest level of service.

  • To our third-party service providers that provide services such as website hosting, Services-related consulting and monitoring, data analysis, information technology and related infrastructure, customer service, email delivery, auditing and other similar services.

  • By you on services to which you are able to post information and materials. Please note that any information you post or disclose online may become public information, and may be available to us, to users of the Services and to the general public. Cookies And Other Trucking Technologies:  We may use cookies and similar tracking technologies (like web beacons and pixels) to access or store information. Specific information about how we use such technologies and how you can refuse certain cookies is set out in our Cookie Policy.

 

How We May Collect Other Information:  We and our third-party service providers may collect Other Information in a variety of ways, including:

  • Through your browser or device: Certain information is collected by most browsers or automatically through your device, such as your Media Access Control (MAC) address, computer type, screen resolution, operating system name and version, device manufacturer and model, language, Internet browser type and version and the name and version of the Services you are using. We use this information to ensure that the Services function properly.

  • Using cookies: Cookies are pieces of information stored directly on the computer that you are using. We may use cookies in connection with the Services. There are two main types of cookies: (i) Session cookies: these are temporary cookies that expire when you close your browser.   • Using pixel tags and other similar technologies: Pixel tags (also known as web beacons and clear GIFs) may be used in connection with some Services to, among other things, track the actions of users of the Services (including email recipients), measure the success of our marketing campaigns and compile statistics about usage of the Services and response rates.

  • IP Address: Your "IP Address" is a number that is automatically assigned to the computer that you are using by your Internet Service Provider (ISP). An IP Address may be identified and logged automatically in our server log files whenever a user accesses the Services, along with the time of the visit and the page(s) that were visited. Collecting IP Addresses is standard practice and is done automatically by many websites and applications. We use IP Addresses for purposes such as calculating usage levels of the Services, helping diagnose server problems, and administering the Services.

  • From you: Information such as your location, as well as other information, such as your preferred means of communication, is collected when you voluntarily provide this information. Unless combined with Personal Information, this information does not personally identify you or any other user of the Services.

  • By aggregating information: Aggregated Personal Information does not personally identify you or any other user of the Services, (for example, we may aggregate Personal Information to calculate the percentage of our users who have a particular telephone area code).

Other Information We May Collect:  "Other Information" is any information that does not reveal your specific identity or does not directly relate to an individual, such as:

  • Browser and device information;

  • Usage data;

  • Internet Protocol (IP) addresses;

  • Information collected through cookies, pixel tags and other technologies;

  • Demographic information and other information provided by you; aggregated or anonymized information.

How We May Use and Disclose Other Information:  Please note that we may use and disclose Other Information for any purpose, except where we are required to do otherwise under applicable law. If we are required to treat Other Information as Personal Information under applicable law, then we may use it as described in "How We May Collect Other Information" section above, as well as for all the purposes for which we use and disclose Personal Information. In some instances, we may combine Other Information with Personal Information (such as combining your name with your geographical location). If we combine any Other Information with Personal Information, the combined information will be treated by us as Personal Information as long as it is combined.

 

Third Party Services:  This Privacy Notice does not address, and we are not responsible for, the privacy, information, or other practices of any third parties, including any third party operating any site or service to which the Services link. The inclusion of a link on the Services does not imply endorsement of the linked site or service by us or by our affiliates.  Please note that we are not responsible for the collection, usage and disclosure policies and practices (including the data security practices) of other organizations, such as any app, social media platform, or wireless service provider, including any Personal Information you disclose to other organizations through or in connection with the Services.

Security:  We seek to use reasonable organizational, technical, and administrative measures to protect Personal Information within our organization. Unfortunately, no data transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. If you have reason to believe that your interaction with us is no longer secure (for example, if you feel that the security of any account you might have with us has been compromised), please immediately notify us of the problem by contacting us via email stacey@tampadogwalker.org

Choices And Access:  Your choices regarding our use of your Personal Information for marketing purposes

If you no longer want to receive marketing-related emails from us on a going-forward basis, you may opt-out of receiving these marketing-related emails by following the unsubscribe instructions in any such message or by contacting us by email at stacey@tampadogwalker.org. We will try to comply with your request as soon as reasonably practicable. Please note that if you do opt-out of receiving marketing-related emails from us, we may still send you important administrative messages, and you cannot opt-out from receiving administrative messages.

How You Can Access, Change, Or Suppress Your Personal Information:  You may request to review, correct, update, delete, or otherwise modify any of your Personal Information that you have previously provided to us through the Services, or object to the use or processing of such Personal Information by us. You may exercise these rights by contacting us via email at stacey@tampadogwalker.org.  In your request, please make clear what Personal Information you would like to have changed, whether you would like to have your Personal Information that you have provided to us removed from our database or otherwise let us know what limitations you would like to put on our use of your Personal Information that you have provided to us.

For your protection, we may only implement requests with respect to the Personal Information associated with the particular email address that you use to send us your request, and we may need to verify your identity before implementing your request. We will try to comply with your request as soon as reasonably practicable.

Please note that we may need to retain certain information for recordkeeping purposes, and there may also be residual information that will remain within our databases and other records, which will not be removed.

Special Notification For Individual California Users:  California residents who have provided us with their Personal Information during the creation of or during the course of an established services relationship that is primarily for personal, family, or household purposes ("Individual California Users") may request information about our disclosures of certain categories of Personal Information to third parties (i.e., our affiliates) for such third parties' direct marketing purposes. Such requests may be submitted via email to stacey@tampadogwalker.org. We will provide a list of the categories of Personal Information disclosed to third parties, if any, for their direct marketing purposes during the immediately preceding calendar year, along with the names and addresses of these third parties. This request may be made no more than once per calendar year. We reserve our right not to respond to requests submitted other than to the email address specified in this section.

If you are a resident of California, you are granted specific rights regarding access to your personal information.  California Civil Code Section 1798.83, also known as the “Shine the Light Law,” permits are users who are California residents to request to request and obtain from us, once a year and free of charge, information about categories of personal information (if any) we disclose piece for direct marketing purposes and the names and addresses of all third parties with which we shared personal and then immediately preceding calendar year. If you are a California resident and would like to make such a request, please submit your request in writing to us using the contact information provided below.

Special Notification For Nevada Residents:  We do not sell, rent, or lease your Personal Information to third parties. However, if you are a resident of Nevada and would like to submit a request not to sell your personally identifiable information, you may do so by emailing us at stacey@tampadogwalker.org

How Long We Keep Your Information:  We will only keep your personal information for as long as it is necessary for the purpose set out in this Privacy Notice, unless a longer retention. Is required or permitted by law (such as tax accounting, or other legal requirements).  No purpose in this notice will require us keeping your personal information for longer than the period of time in which users have an account with us.

When we have no ongoing legitimate business need to process your personal information, we will either delete or anonymize such information, or, if this is not possible (for example, because your personal information has been stored in backup archives), then we will securely store your personal information and isolate it from any further processing until deletion is possible.

Use of Services by Minors and Data:  The Services are not directed to individuals under the age of 18, and we require that these individuals not provide Personal Information through the Services. Children may not access those sections of the Site that require registration. We do not knowingly solicit data from or market to children under 18 years of age. By using the Services, you represent that you are at least 18 years of age.  If we learn that personal information from users less than 18 years of age has been collected, we will deactivate the account and take reasonable measures to promptly delete such data from our records.  Upon notification that a child has provided us with personally identifiable information, we will delete the child’s personally identifiable information from our records. Cross-Border Transfer:  The Services are controlled and operated by us from the United States, and are not intended to subject us to the laws or jurisdiction of any state, country or territory other than that of the United States. Your Personal Information may be stored and processed in any country where we have facilities or in which we engage service providers, and by using the Services you consent to the transfer of information to countries outside of your country of residence, including the United States, which may have different data protection rules than those of your country.

 

Your Privacy Rights:  You may review, change, or terminate your account at any time.  Withdrawing your consent: if we are relying on your consent to process your personal information, which may be express and/or implied consent depending on the applicable law, you have the right to withdraw your consent at any time. You can withdraw your consent at any time by contacting us by using the contact details provided at the bottom of this notice.  However, please note that this will not affect the lawfulness of the processing before its withdrawal nor, when applicable law allows.

Account Information:  If you would at any time like to review or change the information in your account or terminate your account, you can:

  • Log in to your account settings and update your user account

 

Upon your request to terminate your account, we will deactivate or delete your account and information from our active databases. However, we may retain some information in our files to prevent fraud, troubleshoot problems, assist with any investigations, enforce our legal terms and/or comply with applicable legal requirements.

 

Controls for Do – Not – Track Features:  Most web browsers and some mobile operating systems and mobile applications include a Do – Not – Track (“DNT”) feature or setting you can activate to signal your privacy preference not to have data about your online browsing activities monitored and collected. At this time, we do not currently respond to DNT browser signals or any other mechanism that automatically communicates your choice not to be tracked on line. If a standard for online tracking is adopted that we must follow in the future, we will inform you about that practice and a revised version of this Privacy Notice.

Reviewing, Updating, and Deleting the Data We Collect From You:  Based on the applicable laws of your country, you may have the right to request access to the personal information we collect from you, change that information, or delete it Period to request your review, update, or delete your personal information, please fill out and submit a data a data subject access request.

Updates To This Privacy Notice:  We will update this notice as necessary to stay compliant with relevant laws.  We may update this Privacy Notice from time to time. The updated version will be indicated by an updated “Revised” date and the updated version will be effective as soon as it is accessible. If we make material changes to this Privacy Notice, we may notify you either by prominently posting a notice of such changes or by directly sending you a notification. We encourage you to review this Privacy Notice frequently to be informed of how we are protecting your information.
